The Compass shows the direction to one object on the search list. You can move it across a location as you want. The object will be highlighted at the moment the Compass points to it. Keep in mind that the Compass needs a little time to get calibrated to the next target after you find the object. If the Compass is on top of the object, its needle will start spinning on its axis. The remaining effect time is displayed on the outside of the compass.
