We want Cooking Diary to remain fair, safe, and comfortable game for all our players. Therefore, violations of the Terms of Service and/or the Mytona Community Code of Conduct may result in restrictive measures being applied to the account.
The restriction applied depends on the nature of the violation, its severity, whether it is repeated, its impact on other players and the gameplay experience, as well as other circumstances of the specific situation.

Possible measures may include, but are not limited to:

  • a warning;
  • changing the player’s name or guild name;
  • removal of inappropriate content;
  • removal of in-game currency, resources, items, or rewards obtained in violation of the rules;
  • cancellation or reset of the player’s or guild’s points;
  • removal from a guild or restrictions applied to a guild;
  • restriction from participating in in-game or competitive events;
  • temporary restriction of access to the game or certain game features for 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days;
  • permanent account suspension.

❗ Repeated violations may result in stricter measures.
If the violation affected a competitive event, Mytona may apply additional measures, including restricting participation in the event, cancelling any unfairly obtained advantages, resetting points, or extending the restriction period to account for the remaining duration of the current event.

Mytona reviews each situation individually and reserves the right to reduce, change, or increase the penalty depending on the circumstances.


How we determine the penalty

We take into account:

  • whether the violation was a one-time or repeated offense;
  • whether it was committed accidentally or intentionally;
  • whether any unfair advantages, resources, rewards, or points were obtained;
  • whether the violation involved threats, discrimination, disclosure of personal data, or other harmful content. 

The more serious the violation and its consequences, the stricter the penalty may be.
We do not apply restrictive measures based only on a report without verification. When reviewing a case, we may take into account game data, the account’s activity history, messages in in-game chats, event results, player reports, and other available information.
If the violation is confirmed, appropriate measures may be applied to the account.


Use of system errors

Any use of game system errors to gain an advantage is considered a violation of the rules.
Such violations include, but are not limited to:

  • manipulating the in-game timer;
  • manipulating game progress, currency, resources, rewards, or other game data;
  • using game errors to speed up progress, gain advantages in events, or obtain in-game items;
  • artificially increasing the number of ad views beyond the established limit. 

⚖️ Depending on the severity of the violation and its consequences, the following measures might be applied to the account:
- 1st violation: warning or restriction of access to the game for 1 day.
- 2nd violation: restriction of access to the game for 7 days or more.
- 3rd violation: permanent account suspension.

If any in-game currency, resources, rewards, event points, or other advantages were obtained as a result of such actions, they may be removed, cancelled, or adjusted.


Violations in guild activities

If a player’s violation affects the results of a guild event or gives the guild an unfair advantage, measures may be applied not only to the violating account, but also to the guild’s results in the relevant event.
Such measures may include cancelling points, removing unfairly obtained advantages, or restricting participation in the event.
Additionally, the duration of the game access restriction may be extended until the end of the guild event.


Use of VPN

Using a VPN is not a violation; however, we do not recommend using it while playing, as it may affect the stability of the connection to the servers, purchases, ads, in-game events, and progress saving.
❗ If using a VPN causes errors, loss of progress, items, rewards, or other unwanted consequences, Mytona may refuse to restore lost data or in-game items.


Use of third-party software/APKs, modified game versions, and unofficial sources

We recommend installing and updating the game only through official stores or sources available for your platform.
Using unofficial game versions, modified installation files, cheats, bots, third-party software, or downloading the game from third-party sources may lead to incorrect operation of game features, loss of progress, risks to account and device security, as well as gaining an unfair advantage.
❗ Any acquisition of in-game resources from third-party sources is considered equivalent to the use of third-party software.

⚖️ Depending on the severity of the violation and its consequences, the following measure may be applied to the account:
- Permanent account suspension.

If items, currency, points, rewards, or other advantages were obtained in violation of the rules, they may be removed, cancelled, or adjusted.
If the use of third-party software, modified game versions, unofficial sources, or other similar methods causes errors, loss of progress, items, rewards, or other unwanted consequences, Mytona may refuse to restore lost data or in-game items.

 

Creation and distribution of prohibited methods and third-party software

It is prohibited to create, advertise, sell, distribute, or otherwise share instructions, links, programs, methods for bypassing restrictions, information about using game errors, third-party software, cheats, bots, or any other methods of gaining an unfair advantage.

⚖️ Depending on the severity of the violation and its consequences, the following measures may be applied to the account:
- Temporary restriction of access to the game / permanent account suspension.


Violations of communication and community conduct rules

We strive to maintain a friendly and safe atmosphere in the game.
Violations include, but are not limited to:

  • insults, threats, rude or obscene language directed at other players;
  • harassment, bullying, intimidation, or stalking;
  • discrimination or incitement to discrimination based on gender, race, religion, nationality, or other characteristics;
  • posting, sending, or distributing sexual, explicit, shocking, violent, or other inappropriate content;
  • posting, disclosing, or distributing other players’ personal data. 

⚖️ Depending on the severity of the violation and its consequences, the following measures may be applied to the account:
- 1st violation: warning or restriction of access to the game for 1 day.
- 2nd violation: restriction of access to the game for 3 days.
- 3rd violation: restriction of access to the game for 7 or more days.

❗ In cases of serious violations, including threats, harassment, discrimination, disclosure of personal data, or actions that may harm other players or the community, stricter measures may be applied upon the first confirmed violation.
Inappropriate content may be removed, and in cases of repeated or serious violations, access to the game or certain game features may be additionally restricted.


Player names and guild names

Player names and guild names must not contain:

  • obscene, offensive, or threatening language;
  • discriminatory, political, or provocative wording;
  • information that violates the rights of third parties;
  • elements that may be used to copy, stalk, harass, or mislead other players;
  • attempts to impersonate another player, a Mytona representative, or any other person. 

⚖️ Depending on the severity of the violation and its consequences, the following measures may be applied to the account:
- 1st violation: change of the player name/guild name and a warning.
- 2nd and subsequent violations: change of the player name/guild name and restriction of access to the game for 1 day or more.

Mytona may change a player name or guild name at its discretion. In cases of repeated or serious violations, additional restrictions may be applied.


Transfer, purchase, and use of other players’ accounts

It is prohibited to buy, sell, transfer, steal, or use other players’ accounts, as well as to gain access to them through third parties.

⚖️ Depending on the severity of the violation and its consequences, the following measure may be applied to the account:
- Permanent account suspension.


Violations that may lead to permanent account suspension

Some violations are considered especially serious and may lead to permanent account suspension upon the first confirmed violation.

Such violations include, but are not limited to:

  • developing, selling, advertising, or distributing cheats, bots, third-party software, or methods of gaining an unfair advantage;
  • using third-party software, modified game versions, bots, bugs, or other methods to gain a significant unfair advantage;
  • obtaining or purchasing in-game currency, resources, items, or accounts through unofficial channels;
  • buying, selling, transferring, stealing, or using another player’s account;
  • modifying the game client, servers, game data, or attempting to interfere with the operation of the game;
  • unauthorized access to accounts, data, services, or Mytona systems;
  • posting, disclosing, or distributing other players’ personal data;
  • impersonating a Mytona representative;
  • threats of violence, serious safety threats, harassment, or other actions that may harm players or the community;
  • attempts to bypass already applied restrictions, including creating or using other accounts to continue violating the rules. 

Permanent account suspension may also be applied in cases of repeated violations if previous measures did not stop the violations.


How to appeal a decision

If you have any questions and/or disagree with the restrictions that have been imposed on your account, please contact our Support team.
When contacting us, please provide your Support ID, in-game name, and a brief description of the situation. We will review the information and do our best to help.
Please note that repeated appeals regarding an already reviewed violation may not change the decision if the restriction was applied correctly based on the results of the review.



We review each situation individually and strive to make fair decisions based on the circumstances of the violation.
The measures listed above may be reduced, increased, or changed at Mytona’s discretion depending on the severity of the violation, its consequences, whether it is repeated, and other factors.
