This Community Code of Conduct (Code) relates to your use of the forums, in-game chat and other messaging options available in Mytona’s games, including (without limitation) Cooking Diary, Seekers Notes, Chef & Friends, Ravenhill and Outfire (Mytona Games) as well as messages or content posted by you on any of Mytona’s websites and social media channels. By accepting our Terms of Service and/or playing any Mytona Game, you are agreeing to abide by this Code. 

This Code is intended to ensure that each Mytona Game is a comfortable and safe environment for everyone and that all players of the Mytona Games are treated with kindness and respect.

This Code applies to all of your actions on and in a Mytona Game.  We take this Code very seriously, and wish to warn all users that violation of this Code may result in loss of access to the Mytona Games, including access to all of your in-game purchases.

You can help us by reporting behavior that breaches this Code.  If you see, hear, or read something that you think violates this Code, please let us know by mailing Mytona at support@mytona.com. For more information about the legal relationship between you and Mytona, review our Terms of Service.

 

1. HARASSMENT AND BULLYING: DON’T DO IT

Do not organize, participate in, or encourage harassment of others, including by:

  • Insulting or disparaging another individual on the basis of attributes such as intellect, appearance, personality traits, or hygiene

  • Content demonstrating a disdainful attitude towards the victims of tragedies

  • Content that uses features and tools of the Mytona Games to humiliate others

  • Threatening harm to another individual

  • Threatening to expose the personal information of another individual (“doxing”)

  • Stalking or trolling another individual

  • Expressing wishes of death, serious disease, or other serious harm on an individual.

 

2. DISCRIMINATION AND HATEFUL BEHAVIOR: RESPECT EACH OTHER

Do not promote or engage in hate speech.  People who play the Mytona Games are a diverse and inclusive community, including users of all backgrounds and identities.  In order to ensure that the Mytona Games are a comfortable and safe environment for everyone, any content that attacks, threatens, incites violence against, or otherwise dehumanizes an individual or a group is not permitted and will be promptly removed.  

We do not tolerate the promotion of violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on any characteristic, including (without limitation):

  • Age

  • Caste

  • Disability

  • Ethnicity

  • Gender identity & expression

  • Nationality

  • Race

  • Immigration status

  • Religion

  • Sex & gender

  • Sexual orientation

  • Victims of a major violent event and their kin

  • Serious disease

  • Veteran status

  • Other comparable attributes.

Do not harm or threaten to harm others, directly or indirectly. Mytona does not tolerate any harmful communications.  This includes threatening to share someone’s private personal information.  

Do not organize, promote, or support violent extremism.  Any content that threatens or incites violence will be removed.  This includes advocating for, directing, or encouraging other people to commit violence, as well as engaging in any behavior that imitates or suggests real-world acts of discrimination.

Do not choose inappropriate in-game names. This includes using profanities or any other words, numbers or images that may be offensive or obscene to other players. Do not try to use distorted or alternative spellings of such words or numbers associated with these words. Do not use copyrighted names, the name of a well-known public person or the names of well-known characters.

 

3. PROTECTION OF MINORS 

We are committed to providing a safe environment for players of all ages. Any attempt to exploit, sexualize, or harm minors in any form is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension or termination of the account.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors

  • Grooming or predatory behavior toward minors

  • Sharing or soliciting inappropriate content involving minors

  • Attempting to direct minors to external platforms for inappropriate purposes

  • Attempting to solicit real-world sexual contact with a minor

We follow a zero-tolerance policy for any form of child exploitation. 

 

4. EXPLICIT CONTENT

Do not participate in, discuss or promote explicit activity. This includes using explicit in-game names in any Mytona Game. 

Explicit content includes the following:

  • Gambling

  • Sexual references

  • Vulgar language

  • Any other content unsuitable for children

Do not share sexually explicit content. Mytona is committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of its users, and will remove any content that seeks or portrays romantic relationships.  This includes:

  • Content that explicitly or implicitly depicts sexual activities

  • Nudity, pornography, or content that is overtly revealing 

  • Behaviors that mimic, imply, or display sex acts

  • Any other content that may be considered sexually explicit

Do not use features and tools of a Mytona Game to create sexually explicit content. This includes (without limitation):

  • Content depicting, suggesting, encouraging, normalizing, or glorifying sexual violence

  • Content depicting, promoting or glorifying offers of sexual services, incl. offering or soliciting sexual partners, sexual chats or images, sex services, sexual content for a fee, or sex services provided via video

  • Content showing naked human genitalia

 

5. POLITICAL CONTENT

Do not choose in-game names or profile images that include names of or references to political figures, political issues or the names of political parties. Mytona Games are intended for fun and relaxation. We understand that you may have strong political opinions, but there are other appropriate outlets for expressing those opinions. Mytona wishes to create a welcoming space where players can get away from the sometimes stressful political events in the real world.

Do not engage in political discussions using the in-game chat. Mytona makes the in-game chat available to discuss Mytona Games and engage with other players in a fun way. If you would like to discuss political issues, there are many other public forums to do so but the in-game chat is not one of them.

 

6. DANGEROUS ACTS

Do not share content that glorifies, encourages or promotes suicide or self-harm.  We care about our users’ health and well-being at Mytona.  We do not allow any content that might depict, promote, normalize, or encourage participation in any self-injurious behavior. 

Mytona is committed to providing resources for those struggling with mental health, and encourages individuals struggling with thoughts of self-harm to contact their local emergency services.  Additionally, the Mytona team may communicate with law enforcement or other emergency services if they are alerted to any credible risk of self-harm. 

Do not sell or facilitate the sale of prohibited or potentially dangerous goods.  This includes the promotion or trade of firearms, ammunition, or other weapons, as well as controlled substances, alcohol, tobacco, medicines and other drugs. 

It is forbidden to publish, upload, broadcast or transmit to other users:

  • Content that depicts or promotes illicit drugs, illicit drug use, or encourages others to make, use, or trade illicit drugs or other controlled substances.

  • Content that offers the purchase, sale, exchange, or solicitation of the purchase of drugs or other controlled substances, tobacco products, or alcohol (including vaporized tobacco products).

  • Content that provides information on how to obtain banned or controlled substances.

  • Content that depicts or promotes the manufacture of illegal alcohol.

  • Content that depicts or promotes the abuse of legal drugs, or instructions for making drugs at home in order to achieve a state of intoxication.

  • Content that coordinates or promotes the use of drugs or contains an admission of the fact of their personal use (except when it comes to rehabilitation).

 

7. SECURITY

Mytona maintains various systems to keep our users safe.  In order for this to happen, users’ private information, and Mytona’s safety systems must be respected, and kept secure.  Our policies prohibit any activities that attempt to gain unauthorized access, or otherwise undermine the security and reliability of those systems.

Do not share your personal information with other users.  In order to keep yourself safe, do not share any information online that would allow someone to identify you in the real world. 

Do not evade the block system or the ban-list.  This includes attempts to re-upload previously moderated content, or opening new accounts to avoid previous enforcement actions. 

Do not send others viruses or malware, directly or indirectly.  Launching malware, or posting misleading links, for the purpose of causing damage or gaining access to another user’s computer is strictly prohibited.  

Do not promote, distribute, or provide access to content involving the hacking, cracking, or distribution of pirated software or stolen accounts.  Any unauthorized access to accounts of any Mytona Game is strictly prohibited. This includes attempts to hack into another user’s account, using a VPN to mask your location or identity, or otherwise gaining or providing unauthorized access.

Do not use cheats or third-party software that give advantages over other players. Do not take part (directly or indirectly) in their use and/or distribution.

Do not exploit glitches or bugs in the game to gain an advantage. If you find any system error, report it to the Support Team.

Do not use bots to access a Mytona Game.  Bots disrupt the community and diminish the experience for players of Mytona Games, and are not tolerated. 

Do not sell or buy accounts. Accounts are personal to the person who created the account and cannot be transferred to another person without the express written permission of Mytona.

Do not use another person’s account. This applies even if you have the permission of that person to do so.

Only install updates from official app stores that are officially associated with Mytona.  Updates from unofficial sources may contain viruses or other malicious code that may compromise the security of your account or computer system.  

Do not send spam, advertising, or commercial messages. This includes messages to our Support Team.  Any content that is designed to deceive others, or that is shared disruptively or in large-volume is not allowed. In-game chat is also not an appropriate place for advertising or providing commercial information. 

We do not allow content to be published that violates the privacy of personal data or personally identifiable information (e.g. driver license, insurance policy etc.), except information required for registering a person as a user of a Mytona Game. We remove content from the platform that displays personal data or personally identifiable information. 

 

8. CRIMINAL AND UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY

Do not share content that violates anyone's intellectual property or other rights.  Copyright is a legal right that protects original works of authorship, such as music, photographs, and videos.  A trademark is a word, symbol, slogan or design that identifies a product, brand, or service. Both copyrights and trademarks are protected intellectual property rights.  

Content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property rights (including their copyright or trademark rights) is prohibited. This includes using another artist’s music or images, using another brand’s logo, or using another developer’s code.  Infringing content will be removed upon receiving a valid notice. This also includes in-game names  

Intellectual property takedown requests can be sent to support@mytona.com. 

Generally do not promote, encourage or engage in any illegal behavior.  Content that relates to regulated goods, weapons, or any criminal activities will be removed. 

 

9. COMMUNICATION WITH THE Mytona TEAM 

Mytona does not tolerate any communication with the Mytona team that includes abuse, offensive language or threats. The Mytona team will always be polite and professional in their communication with you and we expect the same in return. Mytona takes the physical and mental wellbeing of its team seriously and any communication that includes abuse, offensive language or threats will likely result in a lifetime ban from the Mytona Games.

If an account poses a threat to public safety, Mytona may temporarily suspend, or permanently block the account, and where warranted, will report threats to the relevant legal authorities.

 

10. SANCTIONS

If Mytona finds that you have breached any part of the Terms of Service or this Code, Mytona may choose to sanction you at its discretion. These sanctions may include:

  • Limited time suspensions from all or some Mytona Games

  • Loss of in-game currency or resources obtained as a result of the breach

  • Loss or reset of guild points

  • Lifetime ban from all Mytona Games

  • Changing in-game names or deleting in-game images

In addition, if Mytona considers that any information posted by you contains a threat to the safety of you or another person, or amounts to the undertaking or soliciting of criminal activity, Mytona may report this information to an appropriate law enforcement organisation. If required, Mytona will cooperate with law enforcement to identify you and any other people involved.
